Recording now available for our Webinar: Civil Food Resilience and Local Level Food Strategies
Thank you to all who attended this webinar.
In case you missed it or would like to review, the recording can be found here.
This webinar has been designed for Town and Parish Councillors and community food champions who want to ensure a resilient local food system for their citizens and communities in a fast-changing world.
Civil Food Resilience not only focuses on how our food needs are met in crisis, but how proactive and collaborative work to raise the baseline of security and wellbeing can be acted on right now.
In this video, Daphne discusses the instability of our food system and how it presents threats to civil food resilience at the local level. This is followed by what local councils and community groups can do to create a bespoke local food strategy to build food resilience.
Dr. Daphne Du Cros of the Shropshire Good Food Partnership earned her PhD from the Centre for Food Policy at City, St. George's University, which focused on the ways that councils and civil society groups collaborated when developing local level food strategies for sustainable local level food production.
The shift away from one-size-fits-all bidding has left many teams comparing what actually still works. This breakdown of remaining bidding approaches gathers the main threads into one place, which makes it easier to see how the debate has moved from tactics to fundamentals.
A well-organized resource for teachers or parents looking for diverse coloring activities. The collection spans categories like anime, holidays, and animals, and each page can be downloaded as an A4 PDF or colored directly online. Having both options in one place saves time when preparing materials for a classroom or a rainy afternoon at home. The lack of a registration requirement is a nice touch, as it removes a barrier for quick access. For a convenient way to browse the full range of themes, the PhotoColorify printable hub is a solid bookmark.
